@swherdman - I too am looking forward to the Courier ;) should be an interesting reader.

And from the rest of your comments I take it you are not a fan of the ebook.

You do raise some interesting points about the banning of phones and laptops in certain classes/schools, I had not considered that however I guess it is something that may become worse as time progresses.

As for your last comment, all I can say is ROFL! - I love it!

- Only e-book like reader that interests me is the courier, i like the two screen approach and the pen input, let me scribble on things or let me have the book on the left and a sheet of note paper on the right

- Check out http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/ books are cheaper here then anywhere else i have found and have free postage, the sell ebooks aswell! but more often then not i find the dead tree version is cheaper from here!

- Go hug a tree, reassure it that you love it while i'm getting some intertextual stimulation from its lost friends in the form of my paperback book :)

- Go ask a few young people, most of them don't read or if they do i'm guessing they like the dead tree versions more. Plus in High School, no phones in class aloud? what if only have the ebook on your phone? some lecturers have banned laptops, would be fine line with some ebook readers

- DRM yea lets not go there if its not my copy forever no matter what im not interested. when skynet deploys, kills most of us, and fries everything else with EMP blasts i want to be able to sit in my bunker with a chunk of dead tree and forget the world for a few hours
